Thanks. I like how it unfolds and builds (somewhat dramatically), like background music to a movie.

I had no expectations that you would like this, but I recommend it anyway. I knew my judgement was clouded being such a Tony Banks fan. Without drums, vocal, bass, the only thing left was the stuff Tony Banks played on piano, organ, and keyboards.

I appreciate it. I love Genesis. I didn’t find the interpretations interesting but that’s ok. I mean if every suggestion is just catered to my tastes this thread has no point.

The main thing I was apprehensive about was that you were looking for chill ambient music, and I was recommending piano music which doesn't always have relaxing quality to it. I enjoyed it pretty much, and wonder if there are better interpretations out there. I really can't fault the piano parts. It's the orchestration that is either a hit or miss on how well they match the sound of the instruments on the original Genesis recordings.

When it was Gazzara was playing Tony Banks piano parts off of Selling England by the Pound it was the best part of the album for me.
The next album is Ron Carter Meets Bach. Fair waning: I've seen reviews that totally trash it on Amazon. (maybe I should share them?) I appreciate the album for the strange sounds of a double bass backed by a bowed piccolo bass provide and the atmosphere that they create together. I hope it isn't too weird for your taste.
