Default Virtual Concerts

With many events closing down, some artists are taking their shows to a virtual platform that you can stream live from home. I'm sure we can all use some entertainment during these times, so this thread is for posting shows worth checking out.

A couple of notable examples:
Code Orange | March 14
Metropolitan Opera Free Live Stream | March 16-31
Til Further Notice | March 19

So what else we got?

Oh Sees did this in place of a show. The venue (Zebulon Cafe) is also set to premiere a lot of past live performances on their channel.

The section that I watched was great. Do you have a list of who performed? This one cellist was especially impressive.

I love how much restraint they were showing.

I watched about an hour and it was excellent indeed. Really hope to see more things like this or technological adaptations that can make these kinds of projects closer to real time performance (an issue I've had trying remote collaboration).

Here's the artist list: https://www.seangriffin.org/full-pink-moon-artists

Maybe it was this one:

Quote:
CHERIE DONG

Canada, Markham, ON

Cherie Dong is a young cellist from China. She began her musical studies at the age of four. Currently, Cherie is pursing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Toronto with Professor Shauna Rolston Shaw. Cherie completed her Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and her Master of Music degree at the University of Cincinnati under Professor Yehuda Hanani.
That list of musicians is probably five years worth of musical discoveries.

I’m going to slowly start investigating those that were involved.

Again, I have to state this again, the way that many artists could put their egos aside to make room for everyone, in a loose setting like that...

I wish SunRa could’ve seen that because that is so much what he was about. And Cage, too.

I mean you see something like that - Cage was thinking like that so long ago.
