CHANCE デラソウル - Nothing Different Kinda like disco vaporwave? Super catchy sampling and great production, filed under groove o'clock. |
Peter Evans, Joel Ross, Nick Jozwiak & Savannah Harris - Being & Becoming
Not as free as Evans usually is, but still quite experimental. Mindblowing compositions, obviously lots of room for improv as well. This is why I love Jazz. So fresh, so fun. Sorry, Hawk, only the first track is streamable. |
https://seikomart.bandcamp.com/album/planet-loria This is an amusing campy concept album designed to mimic electronic movie soundtracks from the 80’s. 3/5 |
Really getting into Fetch The Bolt Cutters, very chaotic, very interesting.

The hooks are catchy but never distracting or annoying simply comfortably attention grabbing. Sentimental is usually used with negative connotations but she pulls it off in an intelligent not overdone successful way. All-in-all an excellent work of original neoclassical compositions. I think I could see ant and nea going for this. Maybe lisna. Might be a bit too conservative for grindy frown and exo. |
https://benlukasboysen.bandcamp.com/album/mirage-2 Also goes by Hecq. Long time consistent composer on the ambient drone and adjacent scenes comes up with another winner. Sometimes a little to beat centered for my taste but still good. Could see this appealing to fans of both Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre. One thing that makes this a good listen is that each song is distinct and they’re solid compositions throughout. I think ant is probably the member most likely to dig this. |
