Requiem for Recycled Earth by James Ferraro

https://jjamesferraro.bandcamp.com/a...cycled-earth-2

Our current man-made great extinction and the end of earth as we need it through man-made climate change will continue to inspire great works of art. Sorrow isn’t the easiest emotion to evoke through abstraction but it’s achieved here. It’s ****ing sad. It’s hard for me to understand how a pioneering artist like this can tackle something so huge so successfully and receive so little attention.

James Tenney: Changes - 64 Studies for 6 Harps

The work was composed in 85. Then the composer dies in 2006. Full respect to the artists who put in the time and work and had the perseverance to see this project to fruition.

Great album, although the Sublime cover gets a “meh” from me, your highlight song should’ve been Mariners Apartment Complex or Venice Bitch

I must add though that I hadn’t seen that video and all I could think during it was that I certainly wouldn’t mind if a giant Lana were to walk around my town in that dress, so there’s that, anyway

I did not think that Halvorson and Dieterich meshed well at all, unfortunately. Still plenty of interesting ideas and great playing but underwhelming for a Halvorson release. Haven't heard Illegal Crowns yet, but the rest are 11/10 releases.
