I was too dunk to be putting on a facade like you do with your phony nihilism. We all like OH but Batlord doesn't have friends outside of here. He's lost his buddy for a whole lonely month. Poor guy.

For realsies though I don't know why you get so bent out of shape on such trivial mock arguments. We were talking about sadboi rap for Chris's sake. It's the Captain America discussion all over again.

I don't get disappointed when it comes to music I like that somebody else doesn't. Everybody has a different ear. I think Frown is the only person on this site that likes this record as much as I do so it's definitely not for everybody but to mirror Frown, the drumming, time signature changes, guitar tones, overall intricacy of the songwriting appeals to me on a level I've never really felt before. It's dark and melancholy and yet has an ethereal quality to it that puts a smile on my face. No worries, dog. I just like new people to hear it in case it sparks the same fascination it does with me.

I thought about it, and yeah, I could give you my favourite Marillion or Genesis album, but to be perfectly honest with myself, I can't remember the last time I listened to any of them all the way through, other than for review purposes. This, on the other hand, has great replay potential for me. It also helps me revisit a time when my life was simpler, before Karen got sick, before my mam died, before my best friend died, and so on. Even if you don't like the music (which I hope you will, or some of it anyway) it's worth listening to just for the story. And then there are the star names thereon.
It's a double album so no rush on it; hopefully you'll enjoy or at least not hate it.

I remember the first half being solid but the second half being a chore to get through. And Phil Lynott being a really bad choice to include.
