There are many things I'd rather tell them, including to go read a newspaper, yes

A lot of people deserve better. I spend enough time feeling sorry for myself, though. It's not like I keep my head up. I'm just sick if the attitude that you can't. I get that life sucks, I get the odds are stacked against us, I get that humanity is ****ed in so many ways, I get that there is a definite possibility that my life never changes and everything I try can fail but that doesn't make it completely futile and it's much further from impossible as it's being presented.

It's not about PDFs for Facebook pages to help people network, and yes both can be useful. The point was to utilize what you have because we have more than we think.

I've got some pretty tight PDFs but they're all about cybernetics and UFO religion mostly

Lost Society - Fast Loud Death

No idea if Nea will even see this, I wouldn't blame him if he tapped out of this thread after 10 pages of all the off-topic discussion that just went down.

This album rocks hard and I enjoyed it a lot. Old school thrash with no messing around in-between. Sounds a lot like classic Megadeth, which is my favorite metal band so anything that reminds of them is going to be a fun time.

There are 15 tracks here and most are kept pretty short, which I appreciate. Some highlights include "Bitch, Out My Way" which is pretty funny which is just how I like my thrash. The title track is badass and definitely exudes "fast" and "loud" as advertised. In some cases I'd almost argue that they're playing too fast, because it can be hard to really appreciate and pick apart the riffs they're playing. The solos are consistently crazy, I'd love to play this album in Guitar Hero.

Overall would I call this a special album that deserves a place atop the thrash metal throne? Nah, but it's a damn good time and I enjoyed it for sure. Nice 7/10.

Sadistik - Haunted Gardens

I had a general idea of what to expect and my hype levels were medium. There's a certain realm of hip hop that Lucem appreciates that I have rarely dabbled in, and admittedly while I would call myself a hip hop fan, that fandom has only really come about on the backs of the "mainstream" artists like Kendrick, Kanye, Death Grips, and of course older classics like A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan, etc.

All that said, I actually think this album was great. I appreciate when an artist can really nail a tone and create a cohesive experience that carries from album title to album cover to song titles to the tone of the songs themselves, and this whole record nails every piece of that. There's a thick, dripping melancholy that oozes from these tracks and it really sucked me in early on. Early tracks like "Eden" are just great, featuring awesome production, masterful tone, and some solid rapping by Sadistik himself. Another highlight for me is "Alcoves" which doesn't actually have any rapping at all and is mostly a somber instrumental piece with some beautiful, distant guitar. The album is cohesive, to the point, and never overstays its welcome. It comes in at a tight 33 minutes and I enjoyed every one of them. One light criticism I could give is that I wish Sadistik varied his flow a bit throughout the album, he doesn't change things up enough like the elite rappers do which is what I think would hold his work back from reaching that top tier of hip hop for me.

Overall I think this album is legitimately very good and I can see myself returning to it. Nice rec, Lucem, and it gets an 8/10 from me.

I listen to all of those rappers except for Tribe. Batlord just likes to oversimplify my tastes to be a condescending douche to cover up the fact that he's so self conscious for liking the same artists he's **** talking me for liking.

Well I figured you had before at least, I just mostly see you post about more underground type acts
