Pitchfork gave this a 3/10, so I'm expecting it to be the greatest album of all-time

Montrose - Debut
The album that turned the rock world on its head in 1973 and also was Templeton's producing/engineering warm-up for VH1 a few years later.

It's funny but when I reviewed Key I had almost the same reaction. I think (it's a while ago now) I liked it but it was a kind of "so what?" and I was the same: this is your favourite album? Why? Not that as you say there's anything wrong with that, or people have to explain WHY they think an album is good, or great, but going from the love Key (KI) kept giving the album I had expected to be blown away, and, well, I just very slightly shifted feet, if at all. Decent album, but yeah, Explosions, Trees, ASIWYFA, Godspeed, all far better. IMO of course.
Sorry Key (Ki) don't mean to rag on ya; it's just interesting that Yorke had the same reaction as I did.
