What are you talking about? Thompson Twins are not a "one hit wonder" band. (I had to fact check you cause I felt like you were disseminating misinformation.) They had several chart entries in several countries. In the Name of Love, Lies, Hold Me Now, and In the Name of Love '88 all went to #1 on the US dance charts. Ironically one of their best songs, Love on You Side, only went to 6 on that chart.

You piqued my curiosity and I checked out a few of their other songs. Had only heard Come On Eileen before. Yeah I agree, sounds like lots of other good stuff, not sure why only the 1 song was a hit in the US.

Some of the other songs I listened to have shades of Van Morrison.
