Consciousness=/=emotions
It depends on your music taste. For example, reggae makes me want to jump off of a bridge which I don't consider to be very positive. Someone who doesn't like metal can be irritated and angry from listening to it while a metal fan will find a kind of cathartic release from it, as an example that has some research behind it. The classical one is plain stupid though, that ****'s pop, it's not very fancy.
