Aight I'm not ready to speak fully on the album but I'll say that atm I'm feeling pretty strongly that at least one of the guitarists (I don't know if it's Lynott or the guy credited as lead guitarist Scott Gorham or both) is pure fire. On the simpler, more straightforward guitar tracks like "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back in Town" the riffs are fine, nothing mindblowing at least in 2019, but they're fine, but when the guitar cuts loose, either melodically, as in "Angel from the Coast", or in a more forward thinking metal fashion, like the downright proto-Maiden of "Warriors" and "Emerald", it crosses over into magic territory. And the solos are pretty cock engorging as well.
