I have to pick 1999. But Sign O' Times is super close.

1999
Purple Rain
World
Sign

are all unassailable

So many songs that are so incredible that even still they still shock you with their brilliance

Pop Life, Corvette, Starfish, Beret,

but I choose Purple Rain - he pushes himself so hard on that one

It’s raunchy it’s lush it’s profound it’s beautiful and brilliant

I remember when controversy came out - I loved it but then 1999 -whew- Corvette was a single that took pop music to incredible heights - ****ing awe inspiring / but then Purple Rain and I had the movie on VHS and watched it many times and I just love that album - I’ve broke out into the “Dearly Beloved...” Let’s Go Crazy intro just at random just saying it is empowering “electric word life it means forever” FUUUUUUCK!!!! it’s soooo cool

So Purple Rain is my pick but I can respect the reasoning for other records as well

Unassailable beautiful super genius

Hard to say, there are so many.

Sign O The Times or 1999 I guess. Hopefully with the deluxe releases coming out from the estate there will be bonus discs with the longer edits of the tracks on as well.

I think every album he released from his debut up to Come was at least very good with four legit classics in there.

I will guess Xpectation is Frownland's favourite album of his or maybe The Rainbow Children.

My favourite Prince album is the one by Jean-Michel Desbouis.

Hard to choose one album, so much creative and perfection in all his work.
