Spoiler for Kim Jung Mi - Now:
You can trust me. I'm not like the others. |
Pretty nice overall. I've been going back and forth between a few different tracks over the course of the week. 'Lady' has a great bounce to it, but there's a groove inherent to the whole record that reminds me a bit of Flower Travellin' Band and Leaf Hound as well.
Overall I like, and it was a nice insight into what was happening in South Korea's sociopolitical / music scene of that early 70's period as well. 7 out of 10 |
It was fun but I don't plan on listening again. Pretty unoffensive, nothing about it really stands out in any way. 6/10.

Spoiler for The Mops - Iijanaika:
You can't trust me. I'm just like the others, misleading people with my recs. |
These guys shat this album out in the same month my mom did me. Pretty mediocre and derivative, too, just like me. Damn, that singing is annoying! It's like Kuwata Keisuke's Korean Kousin. Boring ass guitar riffs all around.
Track 7 is decent because they're not aping the West. 5/10 |
