Pitchfork BitchDork
A thread where you can enlighten me with your song recommendations.
According to Batty I have Pitchfork taste, which is pretty accurate; attempts to broaden my horizon are appreciated (but success is not guaranteed) Book and film recs are cool too

I don't know what you might or might not like, so here's just three tracks that I personally was very impressed by. If you only wanna bother with one video at a time, the most important one is the one posted at the top:
Barbara Morgenstern - Brain**** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUr2Rq3moKI The composition and audio layering in this one is fantastic. I love the video as well. Really hypnotic, and goes very well with the music. Judie Tzuke - Girl without a name (The cat is out, 1985) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obcKZYlSUBE Total 80's overload here, but in a good way. It really scratches an itch for me. I love Judie Tzuke, I love this album, I love this song. Waltari - The Stage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn9S5fPaO_8 This is the wildcard pick. I love this band, but I don't expect anyone else to like it. Don't hold back if you think it's crap. It's ok! |

Voice like Tom Verlaine on steriods MicShazam - whoa, I'm definitely getting to all af them this is all awesome so far
