Oh thanks so much for the reminder, I kept forgetting that there was music waiting for me here!
Nea - The first song is rad, a typical shoegaze sound but very nicely done, more bright than gloomy in this case I don't know why they say the names of colours in the second song, but it wonderful bouncy fun. The third song has a similar synthiness, but a slightly darker sound, it's really cool. These songs fit very well with some of the Yugoslavian post-punk synth stuff I got into a while ago. fire - I'm currently listening to the history of sleep record. This is really great. Exactly the kind of drony atmospheric stuff I've been getting into lately (with the kind help of Hawk). Is it a bagpipe? I just started listening to it but I'll get to the rest eventually and report back.

Nice, I'll get to it! I listened to the albums from your last post, I loved the first two. The third one was less my thing but pretty nice too

fire - I'm listening to the Trouz Bras record now. My first impression was quite good, pleasant but not outstanding, (when it comes to bagpipes I tend to be drawn to the dronier stuff I think) but I'm getting into it even more as I go along. The second track is beautifully haunting, and the fourth is irresistably danceable.
Nea - that's cool, I do love Bob Dylan (his music, I mean, **** the guy). I like the cover but I do feel ambivalent about it, which I think is a good sign for cover songs; it often means something interesting is being done. I think the smoothness of this version takes away some of the depth, but I like how warm it sounds. And in what language are they singing? The band name sounds quite German but their singing doesn't, or is it a strong regional accent/dialect?

Spoiler for Baby Blue live:
A lot of time I'm just trying to figure out how popular certain European bands/artists are. Certain bands I find I don't if they're popular or obscure, like the next band. You probably heard of them before, right? There were three bands called The Outsiders. The one from the US that did Time Won't Let Me. The Punk band from the UK. I think if people talk about The Outsiders here it would probably be them. But yet there's another band called The Outsiders, they're from Amsterdam, NL - that's the band that's the bee's knees. Killer bass and killer fuzz guitar imho. The Outsiders - Misfit
