Norg, I started out listening to the beatles and other sixties stuff like the Kinks, the stones, Bob Dylan. Then I went on via the velvet underground and David Bowie and things like that to punk, and post-punk and what people call indie I suppose. I have a particular affection for beautiful melodies a la Brian Wilson, and girls aggressively screaming into microphones a la Kathleen Hanna

That's not aggressively screaming, that's growling/gurgling. I still don't care for it. Or rather, I don't go bongo over it

The singer from End of Electronics has a delivery like Ian Curtis, but more in the lower range.

I like the subtly swinging drums and melody of the second song a lot. I'd like to scream along to it if I knew the lyrics, great
The third song has a nice dragging, wavy sound, a bit like shoegaze. The instruments/sound texture changes here and there, that's a nice surprise, like the synthy bit around 3:00 and then suddenly deeper sounds kicking in at ~3:20
Thanks. I like them as singers especially the last two. Kennedy Ashlyn (from Them Are Us Too) has an amazing voice. Tamaryn was into Shoegaze, but switch over to 80s Synth Pop-ish (à la Depeche Mode) on her last album.

I think Youth Code is the only screaming female artist I listen to other than MC Val and I don't think you'd be into Russian Horrorcore. Maybe?

I can't find a version of this song on the YubenTuben that doesn't have footage of war torn Russia so warning.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.
