Plankton - that Pointer Sisters' song is pleasant and groovy. I love the use of the cymbal and that piano thingy in a different key. Gary Clark Jr. is awesome, gnarly solo. The faces he makes and the way he mouths along are great
Frownland - insane stuff. The solo sounds like the musical equivalent of a mass of frantically squirming worms. I especially liked the part just before it really escalates around 0:30, and the ending. The way the drums beat on a few last times, brilliant. Dharma & Greg - the first track reminds me of Frownland's rec above it. I like it better than most death metal I've heard but I still wouldn't put this on by myself. The second and third one have awesome drumming, but I can't really get into most of those droning heavy riffs. The Burzum tracks mostly aren't my thing, except that the last one actually has one of the rare metal riffs that I really like, the one that starts at 2:10. grindy - love it, that bass is amazing Neapolitan - another great bass. Just when I think it was becoming repetitive that guitar came in, a welcome addition. I like the second one too, cool mathy rhythm, funky also. I sometimes really like computer beats when they're really blunt and unsubtle, like the beat in the third song. Great opening lyrics. Mindfulness - Linkin Park really isn't my thing, sorry. Who decided this song needed autotune and uninspired rapping?

Songs for Marie Marie I know I posted this band already before, but I had to post two more songs because I really love them and imo they need to be heard. The band is called Jushofutei Mushoku or Jusho Futei Mushoku (in Japanese 住所不定無職) I've see this band as either translates to English as "No Fixed Adobe No Job" on discogs or "The residence is uncertain" on Google translate. I don't speak Japanese so I'm not really sure, and I think I've seen them somewhere translated as "Rent Free Apartment." I really don't know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Third song is one of my favorite Shoegaze(y) songs by a Japanese Shoegazer band. I think their name translates as Mushroom Empire, which is a pretty cool name. 住所不定無職 / JAKAJAAAAAN!!!!! 予告編 住所不定無職『あの娘のaiko』 (band - song) きのこ帝国 - 夜鷹 Kinoko Teikoku - Yèyīng Mushroom Empire - Night Hawk

grindy - I like this, it's cool how it subtly follows a rhythm and it has very nice texture
Dharma & Greg - I don't care for the aethereal higher tones, to me they don't really fit in with the rest of the music, but the riff and drums go very well together. And this is metal singing that I don't really have anything against actually. Anteater - Another metal riff that I like, especially the way it swings. As with the Batlords rec I'm not much into the other aspects of the song elphenor - I do dig this. Fresh and direct, with crisp guitars (weird metaphor, I know) Neapolitan - That first band is a lot of fun indeed, especially the first song. The soft background 'ooh la la la''s are a nice touch. Of the second song I mainly liked the guitar playing. The third song is hypnotizing in a pleasant way. It's partly the spoken Japanese, and that swelling wave of sound that occurs twice

I actually really like the Boris song, **** yeah. The chant-singing of the Bathory song is not for me but apart from that it's all right, especially the beginning
