I really enjoyed and was thrilled about David Berman coming back to music as Purple Mountains. Such a great album, really gut wrenching stuff, but it didn't hit me till after he passed away. It was like seeing red flags after it was too late.

Yeah, it's hardcore.
It's also catchy af. I can't remember the last time I had so many songs from an album stuck in my head as persistently.
