Irreversible Entanglements - Homeless/Global

Firy, off the hook free/spiritual jazz with spoken word from Camae Awae (aka Moor Mother). So damn good, they played this at the Big Ears set that made me a massive fan of them. I need to rethink that list I posted earlier.

Petter Eldh - Koma Saxo

Funky experimental otherworldly jazz goodness. This slaps, my dudes.

Pile
Green and Gray

Fantastic rock record.

EDIT: More thoughts. This album is much more fleshed out than their last two records. They really build a nice tempo with some really hard and driving tracks and then slip into more melancholy vibes with ease. There's a lot of bands that tend to do this and sometimes not well (Deafheaven) but I think Pile really commands full control over this record and they know what the f*ck they're trying to do and it sounds great.

Been coming back to this one quite a bit lately, it's definitely a confident embracement of their sound. The production is really top notch too.

The big slap of 2019 -> Fontaines D.C. Dogrel

My favorite album of 2019 was by far was Father of the Bride by Vampire Weekend. I think that's a masterpiece.
