Golly does this rule. When I read what BAN were going for with this I wasn't at all skeptical but I didn't exactly anticipate just how seriously it would actually rip. It's not as if they've shed all their industrial and dissonant themes, in fact it maintains an off kilter spacey atmosphere, and the production is so satisfying, especially for the drums, which are immense. Wouldn't be afraid at all to call it my favorite BAN album.

Pitchfork says it’s lyrically anti-capitalism - but I didn’t notice being a professional lyric ignorer. Worth a listen.
