Damn straight. Rocked my tits off. Dudes came out wearing western shirts and cowboys hats. Really took the "first tour in America" thing to a funny level. They were fantastic. They had an improvised portion where I honestly thought I was seeing the birth of the next top tier percussionist. Not that the rest of the band isn't very talented but that kid on the kit is an octopus.
That’s ****ing awesome

You ****ers see Black Midi live if you get a chance and you'll get it. I agree with all of you though in most degrees.

Oh they're an amazing band I was just speaking on the album.

daniel elms islandia

https://danielelms.bandcamp.com/album/islandia

This is an easy going and quite austere post-modern classical record. Check it out when you’re in the mood to kick back but want something more traditionally engaging than pure ambient or drone. Very high recommendations.

Fridman Variations
Album by Stephen Vitiello and Taylor Deupree

https://12kmusic.bandcamp.com/album/fridman-variations

This probably won’t reach out too much to anyone besides deep dish fans of the genre but it’s still a solid ambient drone recommendation.

More noise and more Sissy Spacek

Multifactorial Dynamic Pathways by The Haters/Sissy Spacek

https://sissyspacek.bandcamp.com/alb...namic-pathways

This is very intense meditative music.

I saw the Haters with Crash Worship sometime around 1989.

If you know anything about either of these bands live hijinks you know this was a wild show. The Haters set was just miked-up furniture super loud through insane effect loops and tools for the audience to disassemble the furniture with. All the lights were on. Not colored lights like a show but just bright white lights like a classroom. Everyone started ripping and smashing the furniture up and dust and noxious whatever it was filled the air and it was insanely loud and surreal. I had no idea if the Haters were even in the crowd or backstage or at the bar or what.
