WHOA, I didn't expect that level of coolness. I really find crazy how Colombia and Brazil have such similar cultural identities due to African diaspora! Hope Combo Chimbita come some day to São Paulo, they sound great performing live.

Some good sounds on these past two pages. I'm familiar with Juana Molina (I have 3 of her albums) and BianaSystem (I have 2 of theirs) but everything else you've mentioned is new to me.

This one is an album I found in 2003, in a Mexican shop located in Austin, Texas. I took a chance and bought it based on the info on the hype sticker on the cover.
It's a solo project by a Guatemalan guitarist named Juancarlos Barrios. Definitely not a guitar oriented album, though.
