Punk never left mate.

Generally looking forward to new sounds over comebacks myself. I wonder if we'll see artists reinventing themselves as often as we did in the 2010s.

Hope to hear less hip-hop.

Seriously though, whatever will happen, there will be lots of great music, so I'm ready.

Personally, I'd like indie electronic to start taking on some new, unique sounds and stylings.

Hip-hop/R&B is gonna last for another good 20 years as the reigning genre.

I'm not sure I could handle that if it wasn't for how easy it is to avoid popular music.

Maybe a wave of adult contemporary will follow the hip hop zeitgeist.

I somehow think that's the least likely scenario out of everything that could possibly happen.

Really? Even with urban adult contemporary? I can see it moving there now.
(to be fair tho, you have admitted to little knowledge of hip-hop).

I know as much about hip-hop as I know about quantum physics. I'm not pretending otherwise!
