My favourite Bowie albums in order would be: Hunky Dory The Man Who Sold The World Heroes Low ^^ All of these could change around with each other depending on how I am feeling but they're all 5* to me. Then: TRAFOZSATSFM Station to Station Scary Monsters Diamond Dogs Aladdin Sane Young Americans Then: Lodger Space Oddity Let's Dance The above three I think are all very good albums. David Bowie has a lot of great albums. |

Really? I have tons. What about Dylan, Zepplin, Deep Purple, Cream, The Yard Birds, The Rolling Stones? I know Bowie has a different style to them but they are still in the same league.

I do have the stones, I stand corrected. Only other older music I have is Springsteen, the Kinks, the Who and Motown. The other stuff you mentioned: I lived the 70s and got completely saturated with it. I dont wanna hear it anymore, ever. I prefer new wave and alternative music except for the ones I've listed.

The first David Bowie concert I saw, was during his 1978 "Stage" tour. It was an indoor concert and there was so much weed being smoked by so many people, there was a constant, hazy fog throughout the venue for the entire show. I think it was more like going to an indoor hemp festival and having a David Bowie concert occur than going to a David Bowie concert where a hemp festival occurred.
It sure was fun, though! Last edited by Psy-Fi; 12-01-2012 at 12:22 AM. |
