Drone-ish in a way, but very heavy, sharp and crystal clear. Ripe. Carte Blanche will be released as a one-time pressing. Vinyl cut by Peter Koerfer at Ivory Tower. Extra-heavy deluxe cover, printed cardboard insert.

It's pretty weak. The title tune and the first tune are the best and
that isn't saying much. Not nearly on par with Raise or Mezcal Head.

That's disappointing. Not that I was expecting Mezcal Head-level great, but I'll go in with lower expectations when it gets released.

New Flaming Lips album coming 4/20 (Record Store Day). Prolly gonna be a ****ty release but I've heard they have a real album besides this one in the works so yay for that!

Is record store day 4/20 because of marijuana? If so, that's a depressing stereotype.

Record store day rules. There were 3 record stores in Monterey that I went to years ago and went home with 2 bags of about 7 vinyl each. Spent a lot but man its worth it now.

New Front Line Assembly, Wake Up the Coma, comes out on Feb 8th.

Aesop Rock!! its due to be released in a week or so.
its a collaboration with some producer called tobacco for whom i know nothing about but if hes aesop's friend he's my friend too :P

windshock i also read a wayne coyne interview saying that the flaming lips will release a "proper" new album this year (hooray and double hooray for the proper part)
