Because Roscoe Mitchell is a member Art Ensemble of Chicago and his 2017 release was so fantastic I have very high hopes for We Are On the Edge

sorry for my confusing way of saying it

She was at their Big Ears performance. That and a lot of other things about their performance threw me for a loop (especially the khoomei) and gives me hope for the future of Art Ensemble and AACM.

I’m hoping for the best but I’m afraid the next Flaming Lips release is going be their first stinker - it’s going to be narrated by Mick Jones

I’m thinking it might be like Holland by The Beach Boys (except Holland is fun endearing record)

!!!

Edit: Just pre-ordered.

Might also catch Magma live in October.
Saw them once already and it was one of the most intense live exeriences I ever had.

Yeah, I got word of this a few days ago and ordered it too.
They also provided a link to show some of the recording of it.

I was anticipating Marina's Love+Fear, but now that I've heard a couple singles, I'm disappointed. Like going from 1989 to Reputation.
