Seriously a bop though. I've only given these guys cursory listens in the past but never an in depth look. You think this album is a good starting point elph?

Ya like Nothingface?

In all seriousness I do like this kind of lethargic indie emo that's not overly depressing or childish. This is somewhat of a singalong driving tune that I'd listen to on long trips. It really is pleasant. The "captain of industry" line put a big 'ol smile on me face.

Now listen to Blackalicious you slag.

****ing hardcore punk though man. I don't think I can name a single just-HC punk band that I legit enjoy. I will put out there that I enjoy the more experimental post-hardcore bands like Fugazi and Big Black (who have a lot in common with noise rock which I also generally like), but never bands like Minor Threat.

I do, although I haven't heard a whole lot of them. I have a few tunes buried somewhere on a hard drive. I have a big S section though with quite a few nu-metal bands, since most of the ones I find interesting start with S for some reason. I haven't been down that road in a while. Speaking of the S section, this offshoot had a couple decent tunes, mostly because of Rizzo though... for me anyway.

Nah but this is alright. It'd do them better to have add some gentler stuff to contrast the blast-beat heaviness, something I think Off Minor does super well. You kinda end up with sensory overload if every track is as aggressive as the last. Regardless I still think they do a good job.
