It's not even that it's an overtly bad album, it's just that it passes by without leaving much of an impression beyond "Welp, that was an album." But there are like three or four songs on it that've grown on me, maybe partly because The Line, The Cross, And The Curve was so adorable.

I mean, 50 Words For Snow was way colder, and not just figuratively
The song where she ****s a snowman >

Been awhile since I threw Aerial on
Maybe I'll do that today, see if my feelings about it have changed

I don't think I've heard it in a least a small handful years. Used to not really hold my attention, but I used to be more challenged in that regard, so that could have changed. It's not like 50 Words for Snow is a super hooky tour de force.

It's been a while since I've listened to the whole album, but Seven is the song I always remember and love. Oh, and their cover of the Duke Nukem theme which was a Japan bonus track, that's fantastic.

Really unpopular opinion here, but I've never been a fan of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. I think it's the weakest of the original Ozzy-era albums (and that's including Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die). Even after giving it another shot, I still don't get why everyone loves it so much. I can hear some good ideas throughout, but it just feels like those moments are sparse.
With that said though, Killing Yourself to Live is great: |
