I’ll check it out! I didn’t listen to much metal last year but like I’ve said several times I’ve been very impressed by blarbs recs
@frown |
Even if I don't align with him 100% of the time Blaro has great taste in metal that's for sure.

why is saying "if you like that then you'd titanically like this" rude |
Hey I'll say these things:
1. Thanks for the compliments as to my taste in metal, I appreciate it! 2. I'll fully admit that, while being incredibly familiar with a LOT of metal subgenres, I am by far least familiar with black metal. I'm trying this year to expand my horizons but it just didn't click with me until a few years ago, and even now I mostly like black fusions rather than black metal proper. However, I think it's okay to like something just because it's catchy and funny and unpretentious with short snappy songs. While I love experimental bands and influences, I don't need (or want) ALL my music to be like that. I understand that NBDC got popular mostly as a meme, but that doesn't stop me from loving it. I don't feel the need to be embarrassed by or apologize for that. I love the new Ariana Grande album too, so I'm way past the need to explain myself. |

BM was one of the first metal subgenre I delved into and Mondo might as well be a lost cab driver he's been around that block so many times.
While elaborating on why you like something is useful, you should never apologize or be embarrassed about something you enjoy. The songs I've heard from the Grande album had some crisp production btw. |
