Off the top of my head:
Songs, Ohia - Magnolia Electric Co. Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones Creepoid - Horse Heaven Slint - Spiderland Mars Volta - Deloused in the Crematorium Cat Power - Moon Pix Miles Davis - Bitches Brew QOTSA - ??? Beastie Boys - Ill Communication Swans - Love of Life alternative: probably ween - the mollusk? went for a good mix of nostalgia, variety in tonality and albums that work for zoning in on, or out to. |

Yeah, I like this idea because it tells you what kind of taste you've left in other's mouth.
I have all 10 of those and could spend a long time with those. I just might find time to create a list on someone else here. Find it interesting that some here "don't pay attention to people's taste in music" or "don't know what you guys listen to" considering that this is supposed to be the thrust of this forum, Musicbanter. |
