While my desert island would have some fresh material, I’m afraid that my albums for your desert island are mainly albums that you’ve mentioned yourself on MB already. Anyway, I hope you still like them, and my apologies if I haven’t picked anything punk, which is another genre that I think you’re interested in too.

1. Fuschia – Self-titled album
2. The Front Bottoms – Talon of the Hawk
3. Orange Alabaster Mushroom – Space and Time
4. 3 Hur-El – Hurel Arsivi
5. Sarah Brightman – The songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber
6. 5th Dimension – Portrait
7. Eddie Harris – Swiss Movement
8. Ranking Roger – Radical Departure
9. America – Self-titled
10. Stefan Grossman – Yazoo Basin Boogie
Thanks, Lisn. America is spot-on one of my favorite albums. I was surprised to see Orange Alabaster Mushroom, I kinda forgotten I mentioned them. I didn't know about Yazoo Basin Boogie, I am sure to check it out.

@OccultHawk I'm not sure they are albums you want. I just hope they are albums you don't hate. Agnes English is the South's answer to The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

OccultHawk:
  1. Elvis Presley ‎– A Date With Elvis (1959)
  2. John Fred & His Playboy Band ‎– Agnes English (1967)
  3. Eddie Harris ‎– Instant Death (1971)
  4. The David Grisman Quintet ‎– The David Grisman Quintet (1977)
  5. The Church ‎– The Blurred Crusade (1982)
  6. Bob Mould ‎– Workbook (1989)
  7. Simply Saucer ‎– Cyborgs Revisited (1989/material recorded 1974)
  8. Minor Threat ‎– Complete Discography (1989)
  9. Lunar Dunes ‎– From Above (2007)
  10. The Carpet Knights ‎– According To Life (2009)

@Frownland You probably took one look at this list and thought: "WTF, this list isn't catered to my taste." You're probably right to think that too.

Frownland:
  1. John Cage / David Tudor ‎– Indeterminacy: New Aspect Of Form In Instrumental And Electronic Music (1959)
  2. Captain Beefheart and his Magic ‎– Trout Mask Replica (1969)
  3. Tea and Symphony - Jo Sago (1970)
  4. Eddie Harris ‎– Instant Death (1971)
  5. John Chowning ‎– Turenas · Stria · Phoné · Sabelithe (1988, material developed in ~ 67/71)
  6. Pram ‎– Gash (1992)
  7. Big Daddy ‎– Sgt. Pepper's (1992)
  8. Dog Faced Hermans ‎– Hum Of Life (1993)
  9. The Presidents of the United States of America ‎– The Presidents of the United States of America (1995)
  10. Orange Alabaster Mushroom – Space and Time (2001)

I legit don't remember you ever talking about music, but don't mind me, I'm borderline senile.

Frownland's list is like "Springtime for Hitler," it's worst possible DID I could think of for the average pedestrian music listener, yet it is a hit with you. I don't know where I went right trying to be so wrong.

I listened to it today. It reminded me more of Satanic Majesty but didn’t really seem like an answer to anything. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it. I did. You recommended curve balls that turn out to be really good on the reg.

"Judy in Disguise (With Glasses)" is John Fred's answer to "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Maybe your right, and I was stretching the analogy a bit too far by saying the whole album was an answer to The Beatles' Sgt Pepper.
