Default Purging

Do you ever purge? Ever wonder why you listened to something and liked it?

I started out with my latest listening project with the idea of listening to my whole collection randomly, but what's happening is I'm finding out that I don't like some of the music I used to, and so I'm purging bands that I've grown out of.

Like Mastodon, Explosions in the Sky, and Ozric Tentacles.

I wonder what will be cut next.

Why did I listen to that boring shit?

Why would I purge music? I might change my mind. And in the meantime I can look at my giant music library and heave a contented sigh.

Not sure what you mean by purge. When I try to drink off a memory, my timing is always ****ed and usually leaves me worse off than before. Tips?

I absolutely support purging Explosions in the Sky though. They sit like a turd in my library but you never know.

One of my favorite moments on the forum was listening to Explosions in the Sky for the first time and reviewing a new album as a troll to Kiiii that eventually left him so butthurt that he left for several months. Subsequent listens have not improved my opinion.

I’m interested in purging about 20,000+ recordings
in order to make it easier to move to Canada.
