I just sold a big stack of CDs today. Some artists, I kind of have an infatuation with for a while, but then lose interest in completely. Some just end up not really delivering as much as their best few songs suggested they would.
Gone from my shelves as of today: Carly Simon Carole King Joni Mitchell Luar Na Lubre Teresa Salgueiro Heather Nova I listened to parts of all of the albums I had with the above artists to give them one last chance before I got rid of them. A few artists actually survived the same process, much to my surprise. A few I couldn't get myself to ban from my collection: Alanis Morissette Midnight Oil Alizée |

There are these 5 dollar "mystery bags" sold at a record store in my city, in which there's 10 random CDs. Obviously they just stuff the ones they couldn't sell in these brown paper bags and then write something goofy and lollarious on the front.
I've bought two of these, which equates to 20 CDs. If you want to know the quality of what I got, Villians by The Verve Pipe is the best one of the bunch. Or maybe the Top Gun soundtrack. |
