I've probably discovered more good **** at MB than I have any where else on the internet. But that's just me. Including member albums.

I'm actually not joking. It's a tepid vocal jazz slog that comes off as sterile because the music focuses on imitation over genuine emotion or personal expression.

Don't be too sure. After all, I got the rec from someone who's been into jazz for twice as long as you and has written several books about jazz. He put it in his "100 best albums of the year" (all genres) list on his website.
