It’s not just a pretty good drone record though. It has a particularly powerful mesmerizing effect.

I knew about the album but had never listened to it until now. I don't know what you haters are on about, this is mesmerising and gorgeous. A bit like people playing distorted bagpipes on drugs. Love it

Yeah it's not even abrasive like a lot of noise music. It's like an ice cold glass of sweat tea on a hot summer afternoon.
