It's a pretty normal drone record.
Not the greatest, but pretty good.
People only lose their **** about it because it's made by a musician famous for pop.
If drone is not your thing and you're not open to it becoming that, just move on.

I knew about the album but had never listened to it until now. I don't know what you haters are on about, this is mesmerising and gorgeous. A bit like people playing distorted bagpipes on drugs. Love it
