I decided to listen to Pet Sounds today because I hadn't done that for a while. I thought I was so used to the album that I wouldn't cry this time, boy was I wrong.

I believe mine would have to be Marianne Faithfull, specifically 'Come and Stay with me' which is, to my recollection, the first song I have ever heard. Even though it was released so long ago, it's beauty has lasted throughout the decades, and when the time comes I assume centuries as well.

(I'd post a link but it seems I am being virtually bound to this message board only until I make 15 posts )

As tears go by is a favourite of mine, watched a biopic of Marianne last week with a recent interview, she did not come across well...very abrasive

They actually sing really well. Good for them, getting in front of a camera and sharing a song they enjoy together.

You seem weirdly fanatic about attacking anyone you perceive as a working-class southerner. Dunno what your deal is, but having grown up as a working-class southerner, it's a pretty frustrating thing to have people identifying as some sort of liberal also be a classist asshat. You literally don't know a thing about these two people. Chill out.

I know they might suffer from Diabetes by now.

BTW you "working class southerners" voted that orange clown into office.

Not really. It was very rich people that got him into office. They supported him the whole way there. He preyed upon people that didn't have the education necessary to work out why his policies negatively affect them. They lack this education because other very rich people purposefully attack the education system, as ignorant people will continue to vote for them.

You're entitled to your opinion, but you need to expand your viewpoint a little bit. Attacking the individuals at the bottom of the food chain so rabidly only takes the focus off of the villains at the top who will continue to profit and prosper even while the folks at the bottom take all the heat.

Don't try to save your reputation. Remember Charlottesville? We all know what you wingnuts stand for.
