Some of the other best that I've seen: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, Judas Priest, Pendulum, Dream Theater, Trivium.

Other shows I've seen have been pretty good but not "best" quality. And I say that fully knowing that I've seen Megadeth twice.

Megadeth put on a really good show when I saw them, absolute pros. Saw Slayer that same night and they took the medal though.

The first time I saw them they were actually great. I saw them at a bigger venue the 2nd time and it wasn't great. But yeah, they do put on a pretty good show. Hangar 18 sounds pretty amazing live.

All virtuosos, but De Lucia absolutely stole the show. The other three were maybe 80% in their element while Paco owned that element.

I agree about Megadeth. They put on a great show live, and I’m saying this as someone who really dislikes their albums.

****ing Godsmack? And I've seen Trivium and they were very solid but not a band I'd put down as one of the best I've seen.

All the live stuff I've seen/heard post-2000 they follow "Hangar 18" with "Return to Hangar". Do they still do that whack ****?

Just bands I have seen while working:

Best - GIRLI. She absolutely smashed it on a small stage with an intimate crowd.

Worst - Thundercat. What an absolute bore.

Outside of work:

Best - Carpenter Brut. Great overall production. Didn't think synthwave could come across so well live.

Worst - Random indie-rock bands in Bolton that suck ass and half the crowd are members of the family.

Godsmack put on a performance. The lead singer brought out a drums and both him and the drummer tossed sticks back and forth and kept up the drum solos. It was amazing. Trivium at the Moore Theater was something else. The whole room was filled with music because it was a small venue.

And yes they still do that whack ****.

Man, who doesn't love drum solos at rock concerts?
