What Sucks About This Genre: Country Music Edition

What do you think about Orville Peck?

I thought his 2022 song Daytona Sand was great but I didn't really get the gist until I saw the video. His latest album (Stampede) was released last week and every song has a guest contributor. The guests are far ranging from Elton to Willie to Beck.

I will say that Jelly Roll, Orville Peck and even Kid Rock are stretching the boundaries of traditional country music and that can only be good, right? This ain't your Daddy's country music!

lack of electronics in there music ....its 2024 and with the power of studios now a days u gotta add a little something .... and not just string instruments and drums
