I have also never found classical music to be at all interesting. Prog on the other hand it the complete opposite. Also those that hate PT are just plain wrong and I'm not giving reasons as to why.

Ignore what your grandma listened to when she wanted to feel classy. Classical music is the ****.

I think classical music is boring when it sounds like fancy dinner party music. But then there's all the other stuff.

The genre is too vast for me to even know where to start and even so, I don't even know when I'd listen to it. Can't do that while walking to work because that's just boring.

It was classical music from the "romantic era" that finally got me interested.

Google says:
Romantic era (1815–1910)

I had been struggling quite a bit with giving a **** before I tried my hands at this time period.

Uh, seriously?

I mean, everyone knows these so you can't even say you never heard them...

Listen to the tracks and see if you recognize them then?

What benefit would that have if I'm not even interested in the genre? I don't really see myself as a classical listening kind of person. Same with country. That's just the way it is.
