First of all it would be nice if the contributor would make sure their album is either available on Spotify or at least on one album in YouTube. It gets to be a pain in the a** to have to look up every song of an album you haven’t heard before. I also couldn’t find three songs. Maybe next time, Anteater should tell us where to find the album if it’s not in its entirety in Spotify or YouTube.

Okay rant over :D. Well, I did get to listen to six songs and, except for the last track really, the album falls kind of flat for me. Some of it is a little too new agey to me while O Tempo Pasa, the one with the vocal, sounds quite nice. But in the end I’m going to say I disliked it simply because I couldn’t find a third of the tracks. Are you hiding something, Anteater? :D

Also, the Asturias name is basically a solo project for video game orchestrator and composer Yoh Ohyama. He's from a specific era I have some nostalgia for and he's great at capturing the classic RPG vibe in his material. I suggested him here just to try something different I guess. :p:

Yeah, I think that's fair: no albums acceptable unless they're available to all. I'll put that in the OP.

Ant, some people, like I think Hawk, won't download zipfiles, so if this isn't available you might have to make club history and change it. See what others think. But there's no point nominating an obscure or hard-to-find album just cos you like it. You have to think of everyone and the lack of interest people have in searching, searching, searching...

I always check Spotify to see if an album is available. If not, then I check Youtube. I don't do zip files either so I'm not sure how this album is going to fare with the others.

I'm going to ask Ant to change it to one that is easily available to all. If so, then I'll have this thread closed and create a new one for the album he does choose. I personally wouldn't be interested in downloading an album that I'm not particularly interested in hearing, and I think most of the others may feel the same. We'll see. Ant, let us know what you think.

What does the process of changing an album look like? Do I PM you my replacement and you create a new thread while this one gets locked?

It only involves 15 more steps than downloading the album from the link that you provided.

I think Cryptogam Illusion was fully available on YouTube a few months ago, but I guess two or three songs were taken down by the main label for some reason. Guess they've been crackin' down.
