I like the idea of talking about myself for a week straight but I don't like the idea of listening to other people talking about themselves.

What I'd like is some kind of thread where there's some actualy concentrated talk about a specific album going on. The Album Club is a perfect idea, but it's been deflating recently in this really disappointing manner. I'm wondering if a Song Club (1 song per week in stead of an album, otherwise same rules) would get anywhere. The Album Club has one foot in the grave, clearly. It had an impressive run - that's something allright - but these last few albums have been mostly ignored and the rules that were meant to encourage participation have failed.
