Thumbs down Which Influential Band Inspired The Worst Crap?

I'd say Iron Maiden. I can't imagine how much cheesy, high concept, middle-of-the-road metal they spawned

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Great question

I disagree with your answer though. Imo Maiden pushed metal very much in the right direction.

I’m gonna say Zep quick answer. But I could be influenced to change my answer. LZ is one of my favorite bands but the bands they influenced (with a few examples) really suck.

Who's responsible for all of the terrible old man blues rock bands? SRV was a touchstone but can we blame Hendrix?

When I was a kid, I stuck my head out of a moving train right as the horn went off and it was one of the loudest and most intense things that I ever experienced.

“Responsible” and “blame” aren’t the words I’d use.

But, yeah, actually

Hendrix is still Freak Fighter Top Forty Number 4 though
