Past and present. Jim Croce & Judee Sill from the 70s, sadly both passed away. More recently Meredith Godreau and Pieter Van Dessel (from Belgium). Nick Lowe was in Rockpile, but he also had a solo career too. Not sure if how many consider a singer/songwriter but he is definitely one of my favorites.

Jim Croce - New York's Not My Home (Live)

Judee Sill - The Kiss

Judee Sill - Crayon Angels

Meredith Godreau
Gregory and the Hawk - Doubtful

Pieter Van Dessel
Studio Brussel: Marble Sounds - Leave A Light On

Nick Lowe - (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding (Live on 89.3 The Current)

Fun category here: there's a lot of singer-songwriters across the spectrum -- Gino Vannelli, Bernard Oattes, Patti Austin, etc. are some of my personal favs. On the acoustic side of things, gimme some America and Jimmie Spheeris and you've got a happy critter.

To me, Mason Ramsey is the newest of the best. Just about all of his newest material was written by him.

"Puddle Of Love"
"Reasons To Come Home"
"The Next Right Thing"
"Falls Into Place"
"All I Wanna Be"
"Here All Day"
"Blue Over You"
"Something You Can Hold"
"How Do I Know If I'm In Love?"
"All The Way To Memphis"
"Shake Shake (All Night Long)"

God bless you and him always!!!
