I love the hell out of the synths and other instrumentation on much of this album. "Into the Labyrinth" sounds all kinds of awesome. I even like some of the more corny tracks, like "Magic Dance". Basically this album brings all that 80's magic Bowie's 3 pop forays failed pretty hard to deliver on.

My favorite song on this album has always been "Within You" and it's just pure magic from start to finish.

"Sarah" is another track that has wonderful atmosphere. And in pretty much all cases, I really dig the instrumentals on this album.

Basically, a lot of the anachronistic sounds of this album are exactly what I love about it. This album is so drenched is several heavily 80's flavors that you tend to only get in small doses elsewhere.

And isn't it just wonderful how bittersweet "Home At Last" sounds?

"Chilly Down" is garbage, but whatever. What can you do.

The movie also happens to be a favorite of mine.
This album gets an unapologetic 4/5.

The Labyrinth: The only movie where I can quote the first part of its most famous line, and nobody will finish it.
