I'm not trying to argue with you here but if Hip Hop is Rock, is Metallica rap? Would it be normal if Metallica was inducted into the Rap Music Hall of Fame?

It took them 5 years to induct The Who.

7 for Hendrix.
10 for Zeppelin.
11 for Bowie and Floyd.
14 for Springsteen.
16 for Aerosmith and Queen.
17 for The Ramones.
18 for AC/DC, The Clash, and The Police.
19 for Prince.
21 for Sabbath and The Sex Pistols.
22 for Van Halen.
24 for Metallica.
25 for The Stooges.
26 for Alice Cooper.
28 for Rush.
29 for Kiss.
30 for Lou Reed.
31 for Deep Purple.
32 for Pearl Jam.

Over two decades before they got around to Sabbath and The Sex Pistols???? Joke.
