MB Bowie Classics
Expanding further on Blank's idea (these threads will always carry a "Copyright Blank, 2018" tag) I thought it might be a good idea to do this. Bowie is one of the very few artists everyone seems to be into, and know well, and we're just past the second anniversary of his passing, so why not? The classic or otherwise status of each album doesn't matter that terribly much; the important thing is a chance to get us all talking about Bowie again.
My plan is to go through the albums in order chronologically, and I probably won't close polls the way we do in the other threads, so people can vote much later on if they still want to join in. But I think maybe it's time we all got a chance to express our love and respect for this unassuming Englishman who changed music, and so many people's lives around the world, and remind ourselves why he was and is such a music legend. Who's interested? |
I'm in.
He is quite popular on here but some aren't really fans The only artist I think I've seen who everyone likes is Black Sabbath. Anyway definitely #in |

I'm not a fan, but it would be a chance to maybe become one. Or maybe it will further cement my being a non-fan. If people can deal with that, I'm in ;)

Seriously though, go listen to some ****ing Sabbath. What the **** is wrong with you?

Sabbath is like early automobiles. An important evolutionary step, but things have moved on since. I'm joking somewhat, since I think some of their songs were really good, but can't say I ever listen to them much. A good intro to metal - like Metallica and Iron Maiden. Wouldn't call either of them essential listening if you're already deep into the dark waters of metal.
