Twisted Sister and Poison > GNR and Motley Crue.

They just capitalized on a sound that was already around and gaining popularity. Same as Aerosmith. And GnR. Hell, GnR is just Nazareth, only with less balls. You like them? Fine. Good for you. But don't waste your time trying to paint them as innovators.

I've got some homework for you. Go listen to the album Razamanaz by Nazareth. Then come back and tell me in all honesty that GnR aren't a bunch of suck-ass rehashers.

Hey, Oriphiel, don't forget Venom's Welcome To Hell. It was arguably the first true thrash album.
