Well I wouldn't say that Killing is my Business or Peace Sells are bad albums but they are no way near as good as Metallica's 80's albums or Sepultura's 80's and 90's albums or Testaments.

While I like Metallica's 80's and 90's albums, I've got to say that I pretty much prefer Megadeth's 80's output over all 80's albums from Metallica. At the very least I'm 100% certain that I think So Far, So Good... So What is better than all 4 Metallica albums from that decade.

Way back, I was a big fan of both bands. Somehow I slowly lost interest in both old and new Metallica albums, while I've always been able to go back and enjoy any Megadeth album. Not to mention how all Metallica albums since Symphony & Metallica have been garbage.

I never cared about Sepultura and Testament at all.

Sorry, meant to say catch these hands. It's young people talk for "put 'em up."

I beg to differ. Don't buy into scare mongering far right bull****. Denmark has always had a ton of middle eastern immigrants, and they've largely assimilated into our culture just fine. This isn't the place to open that can of worms though.

What does "put 'em up" have to do with AIC and Soundgarden being bad and overrated?

Also plz name me some good songs from The Vines. Most of what I've heard from them is crap.

Well you've got a point The Vines don't have many great songs but the ones that are great are enough to make you a fan of the band. Songs like Ride and Autumn Shade 1 and 2 are pretty good. One of my favorite albums of theirs is called Melodia. There aren't really any hit singles but it's more of an album experience kind of like Led Zeppelin. The worst song on Melodia is called He's a Rocker which was the first single released from the album.

If anything Alice in Chains are underrated, Soundgarden are not a hugely popular band like Nirvana at all so I think they are underrated too, The Smashing Pumpkins were maybe overrated in the mid 90's when they were in fashion but now are rightly considered a great band, the Vines certainly aren't overrated just check how many listeners they have on spotify, Pantera are a pretty damn heavy metal band that actually got to number 1 in the 90's so I think they deserve any praise they get and The Doors I think are no way near as celebrated as bands like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones so I think they are underrated because they made allot of great music.

To summarize:
  • If you're an incredibly popular band, but there's an even more popular band out there, that makes you unpopular and underrated.
  • If you're "damn heavy" and got to number one in the 90s, you can't be bad or overrated.
  • If you're considered a great band by some people, you can't be overrated.

Such bad, overrated music isn't worth fighting over.

I never said that those things mean you can't possibly be overrated. I'm just saying those are reasons why I think those bands are not overrated. That's all. I know The Doors are really really popular but I'm saying that the fact that they aren't considered in the same league as The Beatles or The Rolling Stones is kind of unfair to them because I think they are just as good as those bands. That's obviously just my opinion and other people would say that I am dumb for even suggesting that. But I don't care.
