Why do you wan't a second guitar? Is it for a practical reason (alternate tuning, a backup, etc.). you mentioned the Line6 Spider II 112. It's a decent amp, but why don't you save the money you were gonna' spend on a new guitar and buy a Line6 flextone III 212 stereo combo, and come back and thank me for the advice.

I checked out that kramer. It actually looks pretty cool. Check out schecter and Ibanez too. and, if you can manage it upgrade that Spider to a 210 combo. Its an upgrade in power plus its a stereo amp which I happen to love.

Haha Satch', you and your stereo amps...
Nonetheless, I think Satch' is probably right; the Ibanezes and Schecters are awesome although I haven't checked out the Kramer so I can't comment. The Ibanezes are awesome for all that hard rock/metal sound but I don't listen to much/any emo so i couldn't really comment on that sound. Also, the Ibanezes are really good value so that's probably my recommendation... |

As I've said before, Ibanez rocks! Can't go wrong with an Ibanez. They have great action and sound great. If you can, get yourself to a music store that allows you to play the instruments before you buy. Play any of the ones within your price range and go from there. Whatever your ears and hands like, should be what you get!
