I should send you a copy of Light As **** since he took it down and that album is phenomenal.

I don't really don't consider him to be rap even though he kind of raps on some songs. A lot of songs have a huge punk vibe when it comes to vocals. Like Drifting Months and Sudden Separation sound much more punk than rap. Then again I guess that's just like Deathgrips, though, where the vocals kind of fall between both genres.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I listened to about half of it and plan on returning to it.

Really sick post-hardcore tunes that incorporate electronics nicely but it's like they can't write a song without throwing in some filler. Shame too, since they hit hard on groove and creativity when they're not catering to a traditional song structure. Just gimme the meat holmes, nobody gives a **** about your verses. Still really enjoyed it though. The vocals could be improved a lot but they don't take away from the music and it seems like a Hendrix approach of having to do what you gotta do when you can't find the right singer. The guitar player has a great ear and slays on the use of the whammy bar and bends, I feel like we'd get along well. 7/10

@elph, appreciate the recs, will be doing those next. In the meantime here's this. Also have you heard Renaldo and the Loaf?

I've Been obsessing over this record lately. I agree that theirs a lot of filler which bogs the record down. But when the record hits, it hits!

Unwound is great. Have you heard Self Defense Family? Consider it a rec if not

Full Album Playlist

Also pretty sure that you know Drive Like Jehu but I have to bring them up since they have the wildest guitarwork in the game

EDIT: Damn it's been a while since I've listened to Heaven Is Earth, great album. Hopefully they swing by my area to promote their newest release, I bet they'd be cool live.
